Can I ride?
The look on this kids face says it all. Ride your bike and you too will know what it feels like to Un-corporate yourself!

The September Chicago Critical Mass ride was quite the ride. To begin with we were serenaded by two different bands on the street. These were less than a quarter of a mile apart geographically but miles apart demographically. The fuzzy, blurred guys in the alley were playing some acid street music. The mariachis were hard at it...but then they were collecting a paycheck. The guy on the gitaron was trying to wave back with every strum.

Monetta and Gin and others I don't know of (my house is too much of a wreck to find the Derailuer and find the masthead) put out a great zine once again. My submission will be an anomaly route from Liquor Park to Logan Square. I am of course always happy to give up a few pictures. When I gott to the Picasso after my little detour to the lake I found Monetta stapeling away. She gave me a copy and I then went to shoot some pictures. When I cam bac I found Leann and her changing the date to September. My copy is a collecters item since it has an August date on it! Check out the picture of these two lefties!

Speaking of Leann as you can see this was actually she and Ephriam were here for another Mass. As it turns out I had it all wrong. They are going to Costa Mesa and then on to Argentina. You know how much mis-information there is on the Web!

As has been the case more often that not Alex brought flags for all. Though this picture is not Alex.

I liked this picture so I put it here.

This ride also marked the first appearance of a sugically altered bike.
