Ride Your Bike To Work!

Ah the Holidays...a time for thinking about your fellow man. As tradition would have it Chicago's Critical Mass in December is pretty sparse. There were about 12 of us that showed at the Picasso. At least three of us celebrated Chanukah earlier this month. After some discussion it was decided that we should make a charitable contribution to a worthy cause. Without having to go far from the Picasso we found the Pacific Garden Mission.

Massing On The Picasso

The Picasso is located on the beautiful Daley Palza. The City spends our hard earned tax dollars on which ever season it happens to be just about every holiday. Christmas is no different. The display that the City puts on is always tastefull and colorful. The displays draw people from around the state and around the world. While massing up I heard many different languages spoken by what appeared to me to be tourist families.

The City's Tree Jim's overflowing trailer

As you can see by Jim's overflowing trailer he was really serious about donating food. I on the other hand really have not much food so I opted to donate clothing. I saw that Christopher had brought clothes also and that Dan also had a contribution of food to make.

Riding to the Mission

I could not resist riding up the Magnificient Mile. I thought that it would be about the only place to have any foot traffic as there was no auto traffic at all. Instead of a Critical Mass we looked more like a bunch of freaks. And I would not have it any other way!
