| My hat is off to
Mark. He had the foresight or maybe in this case the good eyesight
to see that we could duck onto Interstate 55 for a short portion
between MLK and Michigan Ave. I had been at the back of the mass
after we left a little traffic circle by McCormick Place. By the
time I came out from under the expressway and around the corner
most of the mass had already gone past the on ramp but I noticed
a few riders (Vivian, Dave and Tim) way up ahead of me on the
interstate so I tried to get as many people to follow me as I
could...a big fat zero. It took me a couple of seconds to catch
up with the other four because I wanted to snap a few pictures.
I am thrilled to be part of Chicago's Freeway Five! And hope to
do something like it soon and often! |
